Expectant parents, Moms n Dads, anyone with kids needs to see this - and anyone with MS, Crohn's, Parkinson's or any other auto-immune disease.

This is number 6 of 7 for the introductory series, the package contains 85 interviews.

NO - I do not make a commission...

I simply believe that we need to empower ourselves and get healthy in this country. Nobody is going to do it for us, so we must do it ourselves, and this is a great place to start.

Many Blessings,

A Message for Americans - and a call for REUNION

We are STILL FIGHTING... The FRESH MILK and Animal ID are sister causes.

It is time again for all of us to reunite, re-commit and begin fighting anew. They have not, since prior to 2007, listened to us. They have not changed any of their tactics, their story lines, nor their agenda. They have not reviewed the research. They have not taken into account the repercussions of their actions. This government agency has no respect for Americans. No respect for reality. No respect for anything.

To those who fought NAIS: This is still a part of our fight. After all the meetings, all the announcements and all the bull-shit, we are still needed. Our "Friends" sit on the working group in DC, still doing nothing but selling us down the river, and the FRESH MILK issue is still as heated as the renamed, reformed and re-advertised NAIS.

Our fight is FAR from over on all counts. Re-join those of us who are left - we have rested long enough.

NEWS: Illinois Gun Owners - OPPOSE HB-4715 (Firearms Registration Act)!!

IMHO, immediate and definite push-back is needed against House Bill 4715, introduced on February 5, 2014 by Representative Kelly M. Cassidy (D) of Chicago.

I have copied and pasted the synopsis (the full bill is no less than 25 pages long) below, and put a few comments below that. At the very bottom of this post are some things you can do to take action on this bill to see that it dies a non-ceremonious death as quickly as possible.

No need for attorneys if we kill it before it gets to the floor!!

Synopsis As Introduced

Creates the Firearms Registration Act. Provides that every person in the State must register each firearm he or she owns or possesses in accordance with the Act. Provides that a person shall not purchase or possess ammunition within this State without having first obtained a registration certificate identifying a firearm that is suitable for use with that ammunition, or a receipt demonstrating that the person has applied to register a suitable firearm under the Act and that the application is pending. Provides that the Department of State Police must complete a background check of any person who applies for: (1) a registration certificate for a firearm that was lawfully owned or possessed on the effective date of the Act, was brought into the State by a new resident, or was acquired by operation of law upon the death of the former owner; or (2) a renewal of a registration certificate unless, within 12 months of the date the renewal application is submitted, the applicant passed a background check conducted by the Department in connection with the applicant's acquisition of another firearm. Provides exceptions. Amends the Criminal Code of 2012. Provides that it is a Class 2 felony to sell or transfer ownership of a firearm to another person without complying with the registration requirement of the Firearms Registration Act.

MORE CONSIDERATIONS

Now, you might already be incensed, however, it goes far beyond this for some of us...

First, this is ALL firearms. Black powder weapons are not specifically EXcluded anywhere in this bill.

Second, this is EVERY firearm you own. Each will require a separate registration.

Third, not one item is "grand-fathered" in. IF you owned or inherited a weapon prior to this act, you must:

"appear at a time and place designated by the Department (of State Police)"

and

"complete and submit to the Department the application, in writing, signed under penalty of perjury, on a form prescribed by the Department."

Fourth, In order to purchase ammunition, you must present your registration for verification.

Fifth, you must provide your full name as well as any other or previous names you have ever been known by, copy of your driver's license, address and phone number - not just yours, but your employer's as well.

Sixth, you are to grant the Department the right and authorization to obtain "any additional information the Department deems necessary to process the application."

And on and on it goes.... but I am quitting here. Personally, I was disgusted before I finished the synopsis.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Two last thoughts...

FIRST: Be sure, while you are contacting all these other people, that you express your sentiments to your own Representative, and let him or her know that you want them to vote AGAINST HB-4715.

Keep it short, sweet and simple.

LASTLY: Be sure to pass this information along and get other folks to contact Representative Cassidy, all members of the House Rules Committee (HRC), and their own representatives.

If we cannot kill this bill in the House, I'll post again with information on what to do in the Senate.

Just so you know... I have no material connection to any of the groups above ('cept paying taxes in this backward state). I am not a member nor an affiliate for any of the organizations above, nor am I a member of the legislature. I am simply a voter who's tired of Illinois politicians stepping on everybody's toes.

IGOLD - Illinois Gun Owner's Lobby Day - Happening Tomorrow, March 5, 2014

I know, I know.... I should have published this last month, and let you know about the Illinois Gun Owners Lobby Day.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get over here and post anything -

So -

For those of you who knew about it from other sources, I'll be seeing you in Springfield tomorrow!!

To all of the rest of you - I am very sorry that I wasn't able to give you a head's up.

IF you happen to be interested and can get the day off, I am sure all of the organizations sponsoring this event would love to have you join us!!

One thing I will ask -

Last year, every major news outlet sent people out to cover this story and it was NOT reported in the papers nor on TV or radio to any degree. Last year we had 8500 people show up, this year we are aiming for 10,000 or more!

 ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

PLEASE CONSIDER CALLING YOUR LOCAL PAPERS, RADIO AND TV STATIONS, AND ASK THEM ABOUT THIS EVENT!!!
  ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

The only way they are going to start covering these things in any serious manner is if we demand they do it.

Of course, I will post about the event this weekend, if not Thursday morning.

Until then -

In Liberty,
GrannySue

NEWS: Letter to Send to Congress Over Propane "Shortage" Issues - TAKE ACTION!

NORM, the National Association of Raw Materials, has drafted a document regarding the supposed shortage of propane which is currently wreaking havoc on homeowners across the country. I have  included a link to the document, on letterhead, which you can alter with your signature as well as changing the "Dear Elected Official" to personalize it for your very own Congressional idiots.

Please print it out to mail to your own Congressional idiots, and please also pass it along either by sending out the link to this post or to the document itself.

Since I was given permission to share this post "everywhere" - feel free to share at forums, fb, twitter, and any- as well as everywhere you can think of!

We need MASSIVE numbers of people letting DC know we are watching (and aware!) on all fronts, and these legislators had better start doing the right thing instead of reenforcing the "status quo."

THANKS!!

NORM - Propane Letter

GrannySue
